My second tunebook contains the sheet music of 50 brand new tunes, written between 2021 and 2026. Most of them are what you'd call 'modern traditional': music that inherits the fast, lilting character of Celtic music, but with a little extra spices to make them dance just a bit more. Most of the tunes can be played on standard Irish session instrument, like the fiddle, whistle, and uillean pipes. The sheet music in the book includes chords for accompaniment - with the disclaimer, of course, thatgood backing is very much a personal matter, and that what's written down here should be interpreted as only the softest of guidelines.
